- Don’t just settle on buying your dress the traditional way from a bridal boutique. This is often be the most expensive place to buy your wedding dress. You may like to speak with a dress maker who can tailor make the dress you want, visit a charity store, get your hands on some factory seconds or discontinued lines. However, one common trend these days is for brides to go online! That’s right if you know your measurements from dress trials there are an abundance of wedding dresses available on the web at very affordable prices. Word of warning if you decide to go with this option, make sure you allow time for alterations once the dress arrives!
